People have asked me why I do this show, or who I do it for.

I do it because it feels good to unpack my thoughts. I also do it for:

The person who’s

Having a panic attack but doesn’t understand why

Backing down from an argument instead of standing their ground

Trying to figure out how to fill the shoes of a lost parent

Holding on to something they want but haven’t appreciated

Setting boundaries

The person who’s

Focused on the destination without appreciating the journey

Taking too much responsibility

Remembering their first love

Looking for validation

Explaining their love story to people who don’t understand

The person who’s

Remembering the sacrifices their parents made

Learning to justify their opinions

Appreciating an important lesson learned

Expressing themselves without reservation

Growing out of their faith

Seeing the effort instead of the result

The person who’s

Realizing that they’ve missed the point

Expressing gratitude toward someone who inspired them

Refusing to give up

Wanting to give when all they can do is receive

Telling their best friend how much they are loved

Finding the meaning of life

The person who’s

Accepting their limitations

Saying they’re OK when they’re actually not

Choosing to make things right instead of apologizing

Missing their grandfather

Making something out of nothing

Looking for the courage to say I love you

The person who’s

Softening their heart because there’s more to the story than they realized

Writing a letter to their younger self

Going through some changes

Embracing their demons

Falling in love

The person who’s

Learning that they’re more super than their heroes

Waking up from a profound dream

Following instead of leading

Getting comfortable with the passage of time

Adjusting their attitude

The person who’s

Mourning a loss

Looking at themselves

Learning to accept criticism

or Trying one more time

I do it for you.
